  I've had a very bad experience with this business which has been going on for months. One of the staff called Allison on her own one day ignored my presence for 10 mins while she was on a personal call and when I moved my keys in case she didn't hear the bell when I came in she called out from the back room "Yes, I can hear your keys, I know you're there". I feel this was a very threatening and intimidating way to treat a customer who was waiting for her to put a needle in my arm. To make matters worse, because I pointed out that this was not really appropriate she has been continually rude and ignored me every week when I went in. I have cancer and needed weekly blood tests. After 2 months of this I decided to report the behaviour to Douglass Hanley in the hope the staff member would be called into line but have not had an effective resolution as they appear to support this kind of behaviour from their staff. I would strongly advise anyone needing pathology who don't want to be treated in a threatening manner to seek another company such as Laverty Pathology who have much more professional staff who won't threaten and intimidate you. I am very disappointed to report that attempts to report this incident have been a waste of my time as their conflict resolution team don't have any idea how to listen and act on a serious customer complaint. I am now in a position where I feel I have no option but to remove my business from this company and go somewhere that I will feel much safer and more comfortable and to be treated with respect which is all we want as customers. This is very disappointing and inconvenient for me as this was by far my most convenient collection centre and I could even walk there. Avoid Douglass Hanley at all costs. Their conflict resolution isn't worth wasting your time with and you don't deserve to be intimidated for giving them business and especially when you are asking someone to put a needle in your arm. Not at all acceptable!
